Many hands will be needed to turn dream into reality, wood to figure, work to smiles, and time to fun. With everyone’s kōkua (help) we can reach our fundraising goal of $4,000,000. A portion of these funds will build the Carousel of Aloha Pavilion which contains the 36 foot diameter carousel, the restoration workshop, Hale Makana Gift Shop, offices, storage spaces, restrooms, party room and ballroom. The Park with gardens sporting native Hawaiian plants, cultural performance area, and walking trails will be procured with these funds. Put together the Carousel of Aloha Pavilion & Park will be an educational, recreational, art and cultural destination here in Hawai’i.

Please note: At this time, due to individual state laws regarding charitable solicitation, we are only allowed to receive donations from the following states: Delaware, Hawai’i, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Vermont and Wyoming. Major Benefactor Program – This program starts at $50,000. Contributors will have their names placed in the Carousel Pavilion. Other benefits TBD.
Adoption Program – Outside Row $30,000, Middle Row $25,000, Inside Row $20,000, Chariots $35,000, Outside Rounding Boards $15,000, Inside Rounding Boards $5,000, Outside Shields $5,000 and Center Scenery Panels $10,000.
Mele (Song) Adoption Program – In keeping with our Hawaiian theme, songs will include Hawaiian children’s classics, Hawaiian songs, hymns, lullabies and instrumentals, recorded as band organ music. Have a Heart is our newest Adoption Program. Your donation of $2,000 lets you place a “message to the future” inside one of the figures on the carousel. As we build blanks and carve figures, we will place a message from you to the future, prior to closing the animal. You decide what you want to say. Each figure may contain one or more “hearts” and will be opened at a predetermined time. Have a Heart can be donated by an individual, family, group of friends, school, organization, or business. Let’s get the community together and Have a Heart!
